Deltona, FL (December 2, 2011) -
It has only been several months, but it seems like an eternity for some shoppers, since Food Lion vacated their 30,000 square foot location at the Courtland Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Howland and Courtland Boulevards.
Rumors persisted that Aldi Supermarkets were eyeing the location, but in the end a Save-A-Lot store will be opening sometime in January or early February. According to Earl “Mac” Deyette, Broker of Tri- County Financial Services, and Manager of the Courtland Shopping Center, “Save-A-Lot is leasing and will occupy 16,000 square feet in the space formerly occupied by Food Lion, leaving 14,000 square feet for lease.”
Save-A-Lot is the nations’ leading hard discount grocery chain operating more than 1,280 value -oriented stores, offering savings up to 40% compared to regular supermarkets. Satisfaction is guaranteed on all Save-A-Lot products, or your money back.
The primary markets for Save-A-Lot, part of the SUPERVALU family, are east of the Mississippi stretching from Maine to Florida and Texas.
